Each year, the “Legal Elite” list is compiled by Virginia Business magazine in cooperation with the Virginia Bar Association. The process invites attorneys licensed in Virginia to vote for colleagues they believe are leaders in their respective fields. The 2025 “Legal Elite” list includes 1,605 lawyers statewide. That’s roughly 40 percent of those nominated by their peers.
