OFP Elevates Two Associates To Shareholders

Reston, Va – Nov. 26, 2019 – Odin, Feldman & Pittleman is pleased to announce the elevation of Associates Brian Abbott and Brad Jones to Shareholders.

Brian Abbott is a member of the firm’s Corporate group, and his unique background of experiences as an attorney, Certified Public Accountant, manager, and entrepreneur allow him to adeptly tailor solutions to each client’s particular challenges. Brian has also worked at a high-end tax CPA firm in northern Virginia that specializes in businesses and high net worth individuals within the health industry (including a variety of medical and dental practices and healthcare businesses). In his legal practice, Brian has drawn on this health industry focus by assisting clients on healthcare law matters, including matters involving HIPAA compliance, “Stark” Law, the Anti-Kickback Statute, and other federal and state healthcare laws.

Brad Jones is a member of the firm’s Bankruptcy & Creditor’s Rights practice. His practice primarily focuses on bankruptcy litigation in federal court, advising creditors of their rights and remedies, and representing parties in commercial disputes outside of bankruptcy. Before joining the firm, Brad worked for six years at the Department of Justice’s United States Trustee Program where he was counsel of record in over 650 bankruptcy cases in the Eastern District of Virginia and the District of Columbia. In this capacity, he represented the U.S. Trustee in cases across a variety of industries including healthcare, commercial real estate, and internet technology.
