Erin N. Schiffman is a Litigation Associate at Odin Feldman Pittleman. She focuses her practice on employment law and business and civil litigation. Erin also helps students obtain accommodations in school and testing-related settings ranging from pre-K through professional licensing exams.
Prior to joining the firm, Erin was an associate at a boutique business and employment law firm in Fairfax, Virginia.
Erin received her Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland, Francis King Carey School of Law, where she focused her studies on business, employment, and disability/special education law. Her passion for disability and employment law led her to the Civil Rights of Persons with Disabilities Clinic, where she provided legal assistance and advice to clients with disabilities in conjunction with the National Association of the Deaf and supervised other clinic students. While Erin was in law school, she gained valuable experience working as a law clerk for a mid-sized law firm and for a sole employment law practitioner in Montgomery County, Maryland.
Erin earned her Bachelor of Science in Business and Marketing from the University of Maryland, College Park. She is a native of the DC-metro area and comes from a family of attorneys. Her first negotiation occurred at the age of two when she said “let’s negotiate a Hershey kiss for breakfast” rather than eat her oatmeal, and she began assisting her mother with document production at age five.
