Christian Yingling is a member of Odin, Feldman, and Pittleman P.C.’s Employment practice group. She is passionate about the law and uses her experience in complex civil litigation to counsel clients in best litigation avoidance practices and, in instances where litigation is unavoidable, to provide her clients with a critical edge.
Christian is on the Leadership Committee of the Young Trial Lawyer section of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association. Before entering private practice, Christian served as the judicial law clerk to the Honorable Stephen C. Shannon of the Fairfax County Circuit Court. There, she worked closely with the judges of the Commonwealth’s busiest trial court, preparing civil motions dockets, criminal motions dockets, and trials.
Christian graduated from George Mason University’s School of Law where she was a member of George Mason’s Trial Advocacy Association, winning the 2015 Thatcher Intramural Competition and the Curran and Whittington Scholarship in Trial Advocacy. She was also a regional semi-finalist in the American Bar Association’s Labor and Employment Law Trial Advocacy Competition, a regional semi-finalist at the American Association of Justice Competition, and a member of the National Security Law Journal. Prior to studying law, Christian graduated from George Mason in 2007 as the university’s youngest graduate. There, she studied vocal performance with an emphasis in opera, was the Editor-in-Chief of the university’s student newspaper, the Executive Editor of its Student Media news website, the founding Editor of MasonVotes (George Mason’s political news website), and was published by The New York Times.
