Tax
Our tax section provides a wide-range of federal and state tax expertise. We have former IRS attorneys, U.S. Tax Court law clerks, and attorneys who have earned both legal and accounting degrees. A number of our attorneys hold advanced tax law degrees. Services to clients involve virtually all aspects of tax planning, reporting and compliance, including controversies. We advise on all corporate and partnership tax issues, employee benefits, estate and gift tax planning and tax exempt organizations. We endeavor to make the tax laws work for our clients and not against them. We are instrumental in devising strategies and solutions to preserve our clients’ wealth during their lifetimes and for their future generations. Attorneys in our tax section regularly advise clients on these matters, and represent clients before the IRS and state tax authorities in audits and collection matters, including a substantial bankruptcy tax practice. We also litigate tax issues before the federal courts.
