Leigh Winstead is an associate in the firm’s Litigation and Family Law and Domestic Relations practice groups. Her practice focuses on civil and commercial litigation, as well as family law matters, including divorce, custody, child support and alimony.
Ms. Winstead received a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from The Pennsylvania State University before receiving her law degree from American University, Washington College of Law. Prior to law school, Ms. Winstead served as a complex litigation paralegal in Washington, D.C. where she assisted with securities and commercial contracts matters in federal court. While in law school, Ms. Winstead served as a member of the American University Law Review. Her comment analyzing the FCC’s antitrust analysis of the Sirius-XM merger was selected for publication in the fall of 2009.
