Lauren is a principal in the firm's labor & employment practice group. Her practice focuses on the representation of management in employment disputes at the agency level and in both federal and state court, including Title VII, ADA, FLSA, FMLA and employee benefits.

Lauren also regularly prepares and reviews policies and procedures and employment agreements, including non-competition, non-solicitation and non-disclosure agreements.

In 1997, she received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Trinity University, and in 2002 received her law degree from George Washington University. She is an active member of the Fairfax Bar Association, Virginia Bar Association?and the American Bar Association. Ms. Piana is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the District of Columbia.
