Donald Goldrosen, a principal of the firm, is a member of the firm’s Real Estate & Land Use practice group. Mr. Goldrosen has been practicing law for nearly 25 years and has extensive experience representing both local and national builders, developers and property owners in all aspects of land acquisition, financing, development and sales of commercial and residential properties. He also represents tenants in the review and negotiation of leases for office properties and other commercial properties and property owners in structuring Section 1031 tax-deferred exchanges for their properties.
Mr. Goldrosen’s practice focuses on preparation and negotiation of contracts for the sale of raw land, subdivided residential lots, office buildings and other commercial properties. He also focuses on review and negotiation of loan documentation for acquisition, development and construction loans. He was formerly the head of the International Real Estate Group for Reed Smith, LLP from 2001 to 2004. In 2006, Mr. Goldrosen was selected as one of Greater Washington’s Legal Elite for Real Estate by Washington SmartCEO magazine. Most recently, he was recognized among Virgina's 2008 'Legal Elite' by Virginia Business magazine.
