F. Douglas Ross

Mr. Ross is a principal with the firm in the Litigation practice Group. He is a seasoned trial attorney with extensive experience in jury and non-jury trials in state and federal courts. As a trial attorney, Mr. Ross has chosen to develop a broad base of litigation experience. His areas of concentration include: banking, real estate, title insurance, shareholder and partnership disputes, and defamation. Although his practice is primarily before the local state courts and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, the needs of the firm’s clients have allowed Mr. Ross to be admitted pro hac vice in numerous courts across the country as set forth below.
In 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2011 Mr. Ross was named among Virginia's "Legal Elite" according to Virginia Business magazine. His inclusion on this list means that he is among those lawyers recognized by his peers as the best in Virginia.
