|  Sally Ann Hostetler
Sally Hostetler is a principal of the firm and chair of the Litigation practice group. She focuses her practice on litigation in state and federal trial and appellate courts, including matters involving commercial, environmental, bankruptcy and securities fraud issues. Ms. Hostetler’s commercial litigation experience ranges from litigating business controversies, construction disputes and securities claims to the funding and formation of start up companies, minority shareholder litigation and bankruptcy nondischargeability matters. She has served as a court-appointed arbitrator in federal securities cases. In addition, Ms. Hostetler has represented local governments in litigation regarding construction and land use issues, as well as in regulatory compliance matters and in closing multimillion dollar revenue bonds and bond anticipation notes. Ms. Hostetler represents public and private entities on matter relating to government contract litigation, government investigations civil false claims and arbitration. She also has litigated contract claims, partnership issues, tortious interference and trade secret matters, qui tam (whistleblower) cases, employment and compensation disputes, as well as numerous cases involving fraud, breach of and fiduciary duty to trust and other business tort allegations. In 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010, Ms. Hostetler was named one of Virginia’s Legal Elite by Virginia Business magazine. Practice Areas: - Civil Litigation
