|  David E. Feldman
David Feldman, a principal of the firm, has been in practice since 1964. He began practicing in the Town of Herndon, Va. where he handled general civil and criminal trial work, personal injury, matrimonial, criminal and eminent domain cases with an emphasis on real estate development law. He was a member of the first County Attorney’s Office for Fairfax County where he advised and defended the Board of Supervisors in various matters. In 1968, Mr. Feldman formed a partnership with Dexter Odin and continued his trial practice with emphasis on land use and matrimonial law. For more than 15 years, his practice has focused on real estate and banking issues where his practical experience in real estate development and banking complement his legal experience. For nearly 30 years, he has also been involved in the development, ownership and management of retail shopping centers, office buildings, a townhouse development, and an industrial park. Mr. Feldman has served as bank counsel, has founded a bank, has been on the board of directors of two banks, and serves on the Advisory Board of BB&T Co.-VA (Dulles Region). Mr. Feldman’s experience in real estate law is extensive. He has represented clients in numerous commercial, industrial, and residential purchases and sales of undeveloped and developed properties, loan closings, workouts and foreclosures. Mr. Feldman also acted as lead counsel for a multi-national telecommunications company in the acquisition. In 2006, 2008 and 2009, he was designated as a Virginia Super Lawyer in the Real Estate section by Law & Politics magazine. He was also designated as a Washington, D.C. Super Lawyer in 2007 and 2009 in the Real Estate section. Most recently, Mr. Feldman was recognized in the 2010 Best Lawyers in America list published in Best Lawyers publication. - Participated as counsel and as a principal in the rezoning, land development, site plan and subdivision approval for a 106-acre industrial park
