Odin, Feldman & Pittleman has an extensive Bankruptcy & Creditors’ Rights practice in which we regularly represent debtors and creditors in all aspects of bankruptcy and debt restructuring including:

  • Liquidation
  • Reorganization
  • Litigation
  • Out-of-court workouts

Our clients range from individuals with few assets to international corporations with global assets. Our attorneys have a comprehensive understanding of the Bankruptcy Code and creditors’ rights under state and federal law. We represent both large and small debtors and creditors, in addition to bankruptcy trustees and work to devise creative and cost-effective solutions to complex problems.

The bankruptcy & creditors’ rights practice is headed by Donald F. King, who serves as a Chapter 7 trustee in the Eastern District of Virginia and is a founding member, director, and past president of the Northern Virginia Bankruptcy Bar Association. The practice also includes James W. Reynolds, a former law clerk for a United States bankruptcy judge in the Eastern District of Virginia. Both work closely with other practice groups in the firm in the areas of litigation, tax, real estate and employment, drawing on their substantial experience and knowledge in order to achieve the best results for our clients.
