FAIRFAX, Va. (June 28, 2006) – Odin, Feldman & Pittleman is pleased to announce that 13 of the firm’s attorneys have been named Virginia Super Lawyers for 2006. Only five percent of Virginia attorneys receive this honor each year.

The OF&P Super Lawyers for 2006 are as follows:

David J. Brewer – Estate Planning & Probate
Edward W. Cameron – Business Litigation
David E. Feldman – Real Estate
Leslye S. Fenton – Family Law
Richard A. Gray – Family Law
Eric F. Horvitz – Tax
Donald F. King – Bankruptcy & Creditor/Debtor Rights
David A. Lawrence – Business/Corporate
J. Patrick McConnell – Family Law
Misti Mukherjee – Employment & Labor
Dexter S. Odin – Business Litigation
James B. Pittleman – Tax
Robert K. Richardson – Construction Litigation

The Super Lawyer selection procedure includes peer nominations through ballots sent to more than 19,000 practicing attorneys in the state. Each attorney is asked to nominate the most outstanding lawyers with whom they have had personal experience. Those peer nominations then go through a blue ribbon panel review for the final selections.

The Super Lawyers program was started 13 years ago by Law & Politics magazine. The first list included Minnesota Super Lawyers, and the program has now expanded to recognize the top attorneys in California, Connecticut, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin.

Odin, Feldman & Pittleman’s primary practice areas include real estate & land use, bankruptcy & creditors’ rights; corporate, securities, tax and finance; family law and domestic relations; labor and employment; litigation; technology and intellectual property; trusts, estates and tax planning; arbitration and mediation; banking and finance; and construction law.
