Wills/Trusts/Estates Paralegal:
Northern Virginia law firm (which is moving to Reston in late summer) seeks a high-energy paralegal with at least four (4) years paralegal experience in wills, trusts, and estates. Qualified applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree and a paralegal certificate is preferred. Professionalism, resourcefulness and a strong work ethic are essential. Position requires high-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Professional applications and a willingness to learn additional software and on-line programs. While not intended to be an exhaustive list, a qualified candidate will have the experience to perform the following key duties for this job:

Demonstrate familiarity with estate planning process, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, and living wills, including ability to draft and review and analyze estate planning documents and knowledge of and ability to fund trusts.
- Familiar with the estate/trust probate procedures in the jurisdictions of Virginia, Maryland and District of Columbia, including extensive experience with preparing inventories and accountings in the three jurisdictions.
Applicant must be highly organized and a self-starter with a strong desire to support and facilitate a fast-paced practice with significant client contact.
